Surf Report 10-08-2012 & CDP 5th Annual Golf Tournament

Lumpy and mushy but good enough for wave-hungry-desperados like me and Leighton.

Yesterday the course was ON FIRE!!!!!!!! Our 5th annual Golf Tornament was a BLAST!!!!!!

Surf Report 09-12-2012 & Breakfast

I decided to surf 'even if for 45 minutes' this morning. Turned out to be a little smaller but way cleaner than yesterday.
Got a good session AND I made it in to work to help out with our company breakfast!
Some Fried Rice ingredients were pre-chopped last night.
Ready to Wok!
Bacon, Hot dogs, Spam and onions to start, add rice and season!
Finshed fried rice!
Keith (my boss) doing the scrambled eggs.
Additional meats were: Bacon, Spam and Portugese Sausage!
Optional Kim Chee topping!
Plenty hungry 'customers'!
That's what I'm talking about!

We got the call from Kekoa yesterday..... get da magic bait! Koa had some oamas for us!
Tony and I woke up extra early to get ready.
Tone's rig is ready!
My set-up sure aint pretty but it works!
Aiiiiyah! Only had a few alive!
Inside..... outside..... inside.... All I got was this Mongoose fish - yup Tag-and-release! The Mongose fish is actually good eating but is known for ciguatera.
Also caught a nice rainbow on the way in.
Mahalo Kekoa for the bait - sorry we didn't get good returns - no worry we'll try again!!!!

The surf came up but so did the wind - Miles and Tony said it was good.
I just felt like fishing today!

Small surf? No problem - we go fish!
I was hunting for the Toau on my Andrus 10-0.
Wes was trolling his new lure.
The action was slow - we only caught one Moana each.
No wonder was slow, Tammy caught 'um all yesterday! She IS the Oio Queen!!!
Triple Treat!!! Happy Birthday Bev, Nelson and Peter!!!
All that fishing made me hungry - breakfast is good!
Is it some holiday today? I don't know 'cuz I'm at work. LOL!

Surf Report 08-14-2012 & La Pizza Rina Lunch

Picture perfect day but tiny waves.
Perfect day to dust off my old 9-2 PSH. Look at those old stickers! The board is still so much fun to ride!
No, it's not a clipping from a Macy's ad(but it could be). Miles is proudly sporting his latest Quiksilver wear.

For lunch, Tony, Miles and I met at La Pizza Rina.
Right on King Street, you gotta go early to get a seat.
We started with the Antipasto Salad with that great dressing!
The Garlic Bread was a good match with the salad - it helps to sop up the dressing!
Tony got his usual Pastrami Sandwich.
Miles likes the Super Sub and so do I - that's my usual order.
But today I went with the Lasagne because Bev said 'it's the bomb!'. And she was right - probably the best Lasagne I had!
