Last night we went out for Thanksgiving dinner. No need clean and no need cook!!!
Everyone's choice is Eating House 1849 in the International Marketplace.
Dawn and I shared the raw oysters - small but tasty!
We all shared this Spicy Ahi Roll - Ono!
Grandpa loves the Brussel Sprouts - Check his hand and spoon digging in!
Good thing I'm fast with the camera.
Dora got this Crab Cake
Gotta get salad, their Caesar is good!
Good dressing, tomatoes and the cheese crisps make it good!
Dawn loves their Salmon Beurre Blanc
Dora got the Thanksgiving Turkey Special
Grandma ordered this Salmon and Noodles
I often get this Seafood Paella and I'm never disappointed!
Grandpa always gets their Braised Short Ribs
There's a generous serving behind the micro greens
Dora's dinner came with this dessert, like a fancy Pumpkin Crunch!
I wanted ice cream, this is one scoop vanilla and one scoop coconut - good combo!
Dawn wanted to try the Halo Halo dessert - it was big and delicious!
I'm grateful for the time together and these meals we share.
Noah is getting tall and doing well in High School - we're so proud of him!
As much as I enjoyed last night, I often miss my Mom who passed 5 years ago. While the fancy restaurant food is great, I miss the simple dishes she used to make for Thanksgiving and the Holidays.
She very often made this Shrimp Pineapple dish - I wish I could have some now.
Mom's sushi, whether this pan style or Maki style was the best! She knew how to make it taste good for today and the next day too!
Happy Thanksgiving Mom! We all miss you! I miss you!!!
