It's always a good sign to get a visit from the local.  I Kept my distance as he said hello.

 

We all caught plenty waves for braddah Jay who is working hard at the Iolani Raider Rodeo!

If anyone goes to the Iolani Fair, ask around when is the Dad's show.

I heard Jay and some of the Dad's will be on stage performing 'Old Town Road'.

Last week I wanted to try Peace Cafe.

On King street near the Stadium Park

This is Taco Rice - We all liked it!

 

This is called Heart and Seoul - Vegan Bi Bim Bap - Another Winnah!

I also got a BBQ Tempeh Sandwich(no picture).

Overall the food was healthy and very tasty!!!

Monday 04-15-2024

Winds are still bad. No surf again!

Today is Tax Day - hopefully you filed yours!

 

I went to check Town and here - still ugly

Yesterday was a cooking day.

 

We had some potatoes to cook so I made some mini potato skins! Garlic, bacon and cheese with sour cream!

 

 

I've been making my own croutons lately, this one is garlic and truffle with olive oil.

 

Dora put her Sourdough bread in the oven then, BAM! The power went out. Thankfully, the power came back about an hour later and the bread survived!

 

 

I was happy to finish my Clam and Shrimp Alfredo!

Another day of rest and house chores.

Kona winds are light but still making the surf messy.

The winds feel light on the beach but surf is all buss.

Waves were up, the water was rough and the winds were all ova da place.

Winds started from the East then became South, later after we came in it felt North.
