Scary sets with ghoulishly good conditions!
Got costumes?
The Hawaiian-Bat-Tarzan?
Ready to go!
After seeing some good sized sets, we opted to leave the costumes in the car, for safety reasons. We wouldn't want to run over someone while wearing a mask.
Paddling out Brandon and I saw something floating, we went to check and found this poor turtle dead.

RTP WTF is this J-bay?!!!!!!
Remember the dead turtle? Bruce and I went to check on him because Bruce thought it was a seal.
Bruce realized it is a turtle.
After checking the turtle, we paddled back into the line-up. No more than a minute or two later, we were all witness to a shark THRASHING on the turtle!!! I can't say if it was 1 shark or more and we couldn't tell how long the shark was but the bugga was THRASHING and TWISTING on the dead turtle. I was just happy the shark wasn't thrashing when I was sticking my arm in the water to take the photos.
What a scary Halloween morning in the surf! I'm glad our TREAT was paddling in unharmed, we don't need no tricks today.
Come on down tomorrow!
