If you are wondering why there have been more Yuki pictures recently, the reason is we found out Yuki has Cancer.

2 weeks ago I felt some lumps near his throat and took him in to the Vet. Last week we got the results from a cancer test and his Lymph nodes tested positive for cancer. We were more than sad, we were devastated. I was hoping it was something that some medicine would make go away. This has been a hard fact to accept. I didn't want to believe it. The vet has said he probably has 2 months to live. A piece of us will be taken when Yuki passes.

Right now he doesn't seem to be affected by the cancer, his appetite is good, his energy level is good and still loves to play with his toys. We are committed to making the time he has left, the best times possible. We take him for more walks, give him extra tummy rubs and I give him extra lettuce(he just loves the crunchy stem parts). We only hope that he will not suffer too much as the cancer gets worse.

 

He was a cutest bouncing fur ball when he was a puppy!

 

 

In time, his brown faded.

 

 

He is now 10 years old and still our baby.
