Where have I been?
I have been at Queens Hospital.
No worry, I am doing good now.
What happened:
Monday 5-20-2019
I felt weakness in my left arm
Drove to Queens ER
My right carotid artery 95% blocked
Tuesday 5-21-2019
Surgery on my neck to clear blockage
Wednesday 5-22-2019
Monitored closely to watch for stroke
Thursday 5-23-2019

Full Story
On Mother’s Day, after lunch, I experienced double vision for a few minutes. The next day I saw my eye doctor and regular doctor, they could not determine what happened. During the week I experienced weakness in my left arm a few times. On Monday at work I felt the left arm weakness and just didn’t feel right. After talking to my doctor, he said to go to the ER.
I am so glad I went. I was a time bomb for a major stroke. Both my cardiologist and the ER doctor agreed I dodged a bullet on this. The surgery went very well and blockage cleared.
To everyone reading this, be aware of these symptoms and don’t wait to get checked.
Big mahalo to Queens Hospital for saving my life again!

My van is still not finished.
I had to replace the windshield but they found rust under the old glass.
Luckily Steve from Steve's Auto Air and Body was able to fix the rust and hopefully I'll get the van back soon.
This past weekend was filled with awesome tennis!
Dawn's team finished in 2nd place in the finals of the 4.0 18 and under division in the Spring Sectional Tournament!
They came up short to they best team in the State!
That's a fantastic finish to a great season!!!!!!
