Thanksgiving Day 11-28-2013

It is our Thanksgiving tradition to gather at my cousin Norman's house.

And who do I see has just moved in next door? Kumu of the S.O. gang! Small world!

 

Norman is da man - he made giant gingerbread men for the kids to decorate!

 

 

This one was nice!

 

 

I liked Dawn's creation!

 

 

Oooh! Salami looks good but I said 'No'.

 

 

 

 

Grandpa Crow makes a mean Spicy Ono!

 

 

Yeah!  Fresh Sashimi!!!!!

 

 

 

FBI - Opihi!  I had to have some!

 

 

 

Now you talking! This Spinach Salad was good!

 

 

 

So was this Kale salad!

Norman is a great cook and made this moist Kalua Turkey!

 

 

My sister Cat made this KajunOno!  Was Ono!

 

 

Earline made a good Ginger Chicken! I love Ginger Chicken!

 

 

My contribution - Baked Salmon Macnut!

 

 

We had a good crowd!

 

 

After lunch it's time for Bingo!

The kids had a blast too - they're really growing up fast!

Thank You Norman and Ann for another fun and filling Thanksgiving day!

Early Birthday Dinner 11-23-2013

Last night we celebrated my birthday 2 days early with some of the Courts crew!

 

It was my choice and I chose Uncle Bo's in Kapahulu.

We found out they have a 'Chef's Choice All-you-can eat' special for $27.00 that features dishes like this Kalua Pig Nachos...

this Cheese Bread and more!  Seems like a good deal - most of the group went for it!

 

 

But I wanted to make sure I got these Clams!  Super Good!!!

 

 

Dawn chose the Filet Mignon.

 

 

Dora likes her Pesto!

 

 

I wanted to make sure I got fish so I ordered the Opah!  Mmmm!!!

 

 

Thank you Aunty Cathy for the awesome Turkey Cupcake for the girls!
