Surf Report 08-31-2011

Yup!  Another fun day of BOOMING surf!!!!  It was super fun early with non-stop dredging pits and winding walls with only Kekoa, Darek and myself!!!!!

Clearly the BEST day of the year!!!!!   STOKED!

Later it slowed down and got more crowded but it was still nice.

Biggest day of the year!!!!!!!

Surf Report 08-29-2011 & Lost Camera & Kelly wins Teahupoo

Waves: 1 - 3 occasional 4 feet

Fun morning with nice waves and nice conditions.

Fun until I lost my camera - I just found my pocket inside-out. I'm guessing it fell out after falling on a wave. I'll try look for it after the waves settled down. Meanwhile If you hear of someone finding a Blue Olympus with a little orange floater let me know! Mahalos!

Saturday Report 08-27-2011

Dawn and I like to help with the DTRIC Adopt-a-highway clean-up. Today we picked up trash along Ala Moana then went fishing after with Zyler(my co-worker's son).

Zyler did good for his first time fishing!

Dawn was a good teacher.

After fishing Dawn had her Gymnastics class, after that I wanted to play doctor with Hull Ripper. It has been feeling heavier lately. I found a slice above the left rail - bummers!!!

I ripped the pad and some glass to help it drain.

I leave it 'wound' side down and let it drain. Had plenty water. I hope I can 'heal' it myself.... Or I might have to call in Doctor Jamy!

The swell is gone.   Nice conditions but small waves and plenty surfers :(

Watch out for da jellies!!!! Miles and Brandon got stung today.

Tony's birthday was earlier this month but we chose last night to celebrate!

 
Tony's choice: Stage Restaurant in the Honolulu Design Center.

 

 
Interesting concept: A restaurant within a furniture store.

 

 
They have these cool Wine Bar stations in the bar area.
