Sunday Report 06-26-2011

Sunday morning we went to the beach for some fun before Dawn's noon swimming lessons.

 
Hanapa'a!!!!  Randy paddled all the way to Waikiki get get these bad-boys!  That's a long paddle but it was worth it!!!!!

 

 
We built some sand castles first then headed out to catch some waves on the reef!

Wind: Light offshores

Another fun morning, while the swell did drop some, the conditions were cleaner with the light offshore winds.  I spent time at Courts and the 'Land of Plenty'.

My computer here at work got upgraded and I lost Windows Movie Maker so I'll try to find an alternative to get some vids for da blog......Trying FlixTime for this Vid - What you think?

 

FYI - I gotta work at 6am tomorrow - so no surfing in the morning. Bummed - but I'll try to see if I can get a mid-day session. More for you guys!

Some solid waves this am. Conditions could be better but lots of fun waves!  Jump on it today 'cuz might be gone tomorrow!!!!

How can?  Today was smaller than yesterday!   Perfect conditions but not enough waves.

June 21st - Today is International Surfing Day (ISD). What does that mean to me?  Sorry but not much.  I guess we're supposed to celebrate surfing - heck we do that EVERYDAY!

Today is also Summer Solstice - which means it's the longest day of the year.

Father's Day dinner was at BLT Steakhouse in the Trump Tower. It was Grandpa's choice and I had NO objection.

We got the same big table - I like a big table with lots of elbow room.

 

 
Justin was our waiter and he hooked-us-up. Complimentary Charcutterie - a selection of dry meats.

 

 
Also pickled veggies - he got this for us last time too. But this time Dora tried it with the dry meats and it was a winnah!

Finally, the Chef's Brownies - this is complimentary for everyone.

BLT is good but kind of expensive - for special occasions its perfect. If you go ask for Justin he surfs Courts and so does his father (Gerry). Justin really took care of us the last three times we were there.
