Our weekend began on Friday when Dora and I checked in to The Waikiki Edtion. We wanted to experience Waikiki's newest upscale hotel.
Upon check-in you're welcomed with ice-towels and a super refreshing cilantro lemonade.
Cheers!
The hotel is crisp, clean and modern - we got a nice room with good view.
Everything in the room is cool - even the huge TV!
We wanted a quick lunch so we wandered across the street and found Buffalo's Wild Wings.
We shared this Nachos.
And this Carribean Jerk Chicken Sandwich - spicy and tasty! The resaturant is big with tons of TVs and a good kids menu - we'll be back with Dawn next time.
After relaxing around the hotel, Dora wanted to try Red Lobster for dinner.
Dora ordered the Fish and Chips.
I went with one of the LobsterFest combos - Lobster, Crab and Scampi. Overall the food was just ok, nothing great. You get what you pay for I guess. We're glad we tried it anyway.
After dinner we drove home to get Dawn - we made it back just in time to catch the Fireworks from the Edition pool!
After the fireworks we were suprised when the hotel room service appeared with a night time snack for Dawn. Dawn was really suprised!
When the waiter left Dawn felt relaxed.
Chocolate chip cookie and milk - very cool!
First thing in the morning - we're in the pool!
We just stayed for one night to check it out - beautiful hotel with excellent service in every way. Good thing we people in high places there.
Go home, drop off the luggage and we're driving to Kunia.
