A FUN-er morning with more waves and good times!  I might return for a lunch-time re-session.

 
Since I missed a shot of Randy on his birthday yesterday , I'm glad I got one of him today. He's turning that 11' like a 9'.

Da re-session started slow but turned out to be a fun session - I'll be sleeping good tonight!   Even Brandon showed up to get some afternoon delight.

I keep forgetting that March is a heavy birthday month around here. Daryl was out ripping it up on his birthday.

After the busy weekend, it was great to catch a few waves. It was also great to see Jeff who just returned from Iraq - Mahalo Jeff for fighting for our freedom!

Some small wind-swell waves with a mellow Monday crowd.

Weekend Report 03-27-2011

It was a busy weekend for me - no surfing but plenty of things got done. I don't have the energy to give you a full report, so I'll give you the summarized version. There was a lot of good food so I'll try post more pics later.

Saturday Morning

 
We attended Dawn's school Chorus performance.

After her performance I stopped by Costco to look at TV's, we're thinking of getting a new one. I walked out with a Sony 46" LED TV and Nikon D3100 camera. The TV had a $600 instant rebate and the camera had a $200 instant rebate. Good deals!

Saturday Evening

 
We were off to Natsunoya Tea House for 'Surprise' 50th Wedding anniversary party for Crow and Earline(Kyle's parents). We all did a good job - they were really surprised! For the party I'm using the new D3100 camera - it's pretty good.

 

 
Any party with Crow and Kyle means fresh fish and opihi - no complaints from me!

 

 
Food at Natsunoya is good, but this was the first time I had this scallop dish - Scallops in Wasabi Butter. Absolutely incredible! I practically licked the plate clean.

 

Sunday Morning

Sunday morning was 'set-up-the-TV' time. DVD, Blue-ray, cable and WII all ready to go! We could've went bigger but we're happy with the TV.

 
Time for lunch - we're off the JJ French to celebrate my mother's birthday.

Yup gangee, today is MORE windy than yesterday and the waves were smaller. Only the TRUE diehards ventured out.

Great for kite surfing. A bunch of us braved the fierce winds to catch a few waves. You practically had to paddle to stay in one place.

Surf Report 03-21-2011 & Happy Birthday Mom & DTRIC Bake Sale

Happy Monday!  Isn't it great to be at work?  At least we had some waves this morning. Seemed like a mix of South swell and wind-swell coming in with blasting winds. I rode my longboard again and had fun!  Great and grateful to be in the water.

Today is my mother's birthday.

 
I picked her up and brought a cake, we all sang Happy Birthday to her.

 

 
Here's some of her 'gang', she walks with these people every day. The man on the left is Sinjin's grandpa, not sure who the guy on the right is but I just cut him in half - sorry.

Employees are encouraged to contribute items for sale. Then we open up our lunch room and sell the goods to employees and other people who work nearby. This is my stash.
