It was a full day for us on Christmas day but we enjoyed the good food, wonderful gifts and time spent with family.
Dawn helped create the Gingerbread village for Santa.
Christmas Eve we left some healthy snacks for Santa - Dawn said Santa is getting too fat!
Christmas morning Dawn had so many good gifts - here she is singing on the Wii 'Sing it' game.
She wrote a letter to Santa asking for a long white dress and red slippers - Santa delivered!!!
After opening gifts and preparing my enchiladas, we were off to Grandpa Crows house - here's our hosts, looking sharp in their Jams World attire (a new Red Sea Ocean Adventure sponsor). I wonder if I'll get a free shirt too?
Adorning one of the walls is a canvas print of Kyle with the Marlin he shot in Mexico - MEAN!!!
Dawn, Maika and Kai - growing up fast!
Kyle and Cat prepared this ono Kumu with somen noodles!
Earline made this awesome stuffed shrimp.
Here's Norman's baked chicken - loved the coating!
I thought my enchiladas came out pretty good - not bad for a Japanese guy making Mexican food.
We always get treated to good pies! This year Alan made Lemon Merringue and Baked Apple.
Thanks Leane for putting together a FUN gift exchange - the 'hot' item was this box of rice bowls!
After lunch it's play time - Kai was zipping around!
Maika has no fear!
My little scooter girl!
Some of the 'bigger kids' getting into it too! Go Cat!
Straight from Crow's house we had to go to the Sheraton Waikiki's Kai market.
We met Dora's brother Glen and family and Dora's parents - here's baby Noah (Glen's son).
I was still full but managed to squeeze in some Prime Rib.
Couldn't pass these fresh oysters without grabbing some.
Wow! Black bean Clams and Mussels too!
Oh what! Roast duck....
with bun and plum sauce? I'm in!
We all had so many good gifts. I really feel humbled and grateful for the good times and wonderful gifts we got to share this year - I love Christmas!!!!
Well I didn't get the new Hull Ripper I was hoping for - maybe next year:(
