Surf Report 04-30-2010 & May Day at DTRIC

Waves: 1 - 2 feet

Wind: Slight offshore

Clean, crisp peelers rolling in this morning - what a difference from the rest of the week. The wind was perfect. Jump on it before the South winds start.

Waves: 1 - 2 feet

Wind: Switching from East to North-East.

Just like yesterday looked like crap from shore but when we got out there, it was GOOD compared to yesterday. Nice head high sets coming in straight with walls, not that peaky stuff.

Wind: Strong East

Windy, peaky and funky. I don't know what's worse - conditions like today or what we're supposed to get tomorrow, which is strong South East winds. Yikes!

Very inconsistent with lumpy conditions again. Courts was junk - mixed up and peaky. I was at Big Lefts again where it was mixed up too but had a few open walls.

Everybody seems disappointed, including myself but still good to have waves to ride. Tomorrow will be worse so I suggest you rest for the weekend.

Better conditions today but the 'swell' is still weak - very inconsistent. Spent all morning at Big Lefts with a SUPer mellow crowd and fun waves.

Slight increase from yesterday but lumpy and mixed up conditions - hopefully better tomorrow.

Inconsistent sets with choppy conditions and crossed-up swells. Not we were anticipating - I thought yesterday was better.
