Surf Report 4-30-2008

Surf this morning was pretty good but not great. 3 - 5 feet but still a little disorganized.

Yesterday was worse 3 -4 but 'all over the place'.

 

Disneyland was great! We all had a great time - so much to do and so little time.

Surf was in the waist to chest high size, started as a glassy morning but the wind picked up later. Still a good day to be in the water.

Life is back to normal - the party is over - the swell is gone.

Small but fun surf with mellow crowd made for a nice morning.

We went to the Cheesecake Factory on Sunday. Dawn slept through dinner again.

I got her a Grilled cheese sandwhich 'to go'. Dora got her usual Factory Burrito - the thing is huge. Mom and Dad both got the Beef Ribs - 'meat falling off the bone' tender. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi and Steak Diane Combo, the shrimp was ok not as 'garlic buttery' as I expected, but the Steak Diane made up for it. I also ordered my favorite Crispy Spicy Beef 'to go' for my lunch on Monday.

Darek called it right - 'Best Day of the Year!'.

GOOD waves, GOOD wind and GOOD crowd!!!!!

I'll rate this morning a '9'.

I took half day vacation and went back for more. Paddled out to Big Lefts where there were only 4 other guys out. The higher tide kept the lefts open  - I had a blast catching any set I wanted.

A GOOD day for surf at Courts. GOOD waves and light crowd.

I'll rate this morning's session an '8' (Scale of 1 to 10).

Surf Report 4-16-2008

Surf's Up! There's some good waves this morning solid 3 feet sets. Conditions could be better but I'll take it!

I hope it gets bigger in the next couple of days.

Scale of 1 to 10 - I'll give it a 6.

It's Tax Day - I hope everyone did their taxes. We did ours a while ago, and still waiting for the check.

Surf was junk. Windy and peaky with long waits. There were a few good sets but overall not a great day.

Pray for surf tomorrow!!!!
