Surf Report 3-31-2008

Small but fun surf this morning, best thing was no crowd. There's supposed to a bump tomorrow - I'll believe it when I see it.

Surf Report 3-27-2008

Courts wasn't too good today - there were just a few good waves this morning. The 'swell' is gone.

Surf Report 3-26-2008

Courts was pretty good this morning - occasional 3 feet and not too crowded. The 'swell' didn't hit as hard as most of us wanted but at least there was surf to ride.

 

I missed the morning surf yesterday to watch my daughter but got to surf at lunch time - had some waves but it was really windy. 

Contest Report 3-22-2008

Today was the HASA Contest at Sandys. It was pretty windy. I entered the Sr. Men Longboard and got First Place, I was tempted to enter the SUP but it was very windy, plus I had to go to a wedding so I decided to pass. Not sure if these shots capture how windy it was.

So I took a video clip - check the black thing fly past the lens - that was the lens cover flying around.

Surf Report 3-18-2008

No swell yet - still small and windy. Nelson's new SUP looks GOOD!!! Looks like he's getting the hang of it.

I came to work early for my 8:00am meeting only to find out they moved it to 10:00am - you know I'm real happy about that.

 

The Menhune were out last night and left us a present.

I think they heard us and they came out to say 'Hi'.

Happy St. Patrick's Day !!!

 

Surf this morning was small and windy - I was hoping for some waves from that swell I keep hearing about - no signs yet. I hope it comes on Wednesday because I have to be at work early tomorrow.

Surf Report 3-13-2008

The waves were really junk today - in fact it'll probably be junk all week. Everyone should stay home all week.

 

 

Actually it was good - the waves were a little smaller and still kind of windy but only had a few of us out. Sets were still head high and there were lots of waves. Tomorrow is supposed to be really junk so I think everyone should stay home or go to work early - haha.

Another cool thing about this morning was the clouds - there were some cool 'dandelions' in the sky, but by the time I came in they were breaking up.

Bummer - Trades are back!!!

I was hoping for a few more days of glassy mornings. The good thing was the waves did come up a little. Overall a fun morning. I wanted to take a few pics but I stayed out late and had to rush to work.

Nice waves this morning!!!

Glassy with head high(or little bigger) on the good sets with nice long walls. It was just so much fun to ride good waves.

Looks like we'll have some waves all week too!!!!!

Waves are really small again.

At least the wind is light and the water is warm. I had SUPer fun at Concessions - only me - nobody else.
