Surf Report 2-29-2008

Where was everybody, anybody?

Only me, John and Hans - head high sets - direction was kinda east/windswell type waves but still lots of fun waves.

Surf was smaller today but light winds and light crowd made it a good session.

I've been attending a Conference at the Hilton Hawaiian Village the last two days(for work). It was interesting but the good part was that I didn't have to work and they provided lunch and dinner on the first day.

A SUPer fun morning - small west wrap with a light crowd and zero wind.

Looks like we might get some waves soon!!!!

Surf Report 2-17-2008

I drove in the park and made the turn at the highrise and saw NO CARS parked on the beach side. Then when I opened the car door - whoosh! the onshore wind hit me - CRAP!

Bummer! After a beautiful day yesterday we get this ugly south-west wind.

I then stopped at the spots near home hoping for a little better conditions but no luck today.

Another small but glassy morning. There was just a little west wrap coming in - not what we were hoping for.

Happy Valentines Day!!!!

We were hoping for some west wrap this morning but the waves were small. At least the wind was light - anyway I had to go to work early so I was glad it wasn't too good.

Glen(YMCA) came out this morning - he said he is living in Seattle now. No wonder we didn't see him in a while.

Good luck in Seattle!!!! I know you'll be back to surf every so often - we'll try to save you a wave or two.

Surf Report 2-13-2008

I've been busy at work and haven't had time to update the blog.

Surf has been pretty good lately. This morning was a little smaller than yesterday but still had some head high sets although slighty lumpy-sea-sickness on the water surface.

Martin got his brand new C4 SUP-Standem this morning. The thing is BIG. I took some pictures but my camera battery died. I'll upload those pictures later.

Bigger and less windy and still uncrowded. I caught some good rides on my regular longboard.
