Aulani Brunch 02-18-2012
Today we went to the Disney Aulani Hotel for the character brunch at the Makahihki restaurant.
Beautiful Entrance.
Huge lobby area.
You'll see the arch theme everywhere.
Nice grounds with a cool Lazy River flowing through.
The place is huge - so much rooms!
Makahiki restaurant.
Dawn, Aily, Julia, Amelia and Cameron - the girls couldn't wait to go in.

Eggs benedict - local style with Poi muffins, Portugese Sausage, Egg and Hollandaise.

This was interesting - Egg whites with cheese and salsa.

It was a very nice brunch with good food but I was a little disappointed that there were only 3 characters at the brunch. There are more characters available to 'meet and greet' on the hotel grounds but only at specified times. The hotel grounds are just so beautiful and well planned with so much attention to details. Would be awesome to stay there but kinda expensive.
